Adelina Sanchez

Adelina Sanchez, 76, of Robinson, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at Providence Hospice Place. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at Victorious Life Church. Visitation with Adelina's family will be 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive.

Adelina was born May 13, 1937 to her parents Nicolas and Maria Muñoz in Eagle Lake, TX. She graduated from San Marcos High School. Eventually Adelina attended Mary-Hardin Baylor where she received her BA in Education. She then taught in Robinson ISD for many years. Adelina was very active in her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Adelina is survived by her sons, Alex Sanchez, Beau Sanchez and wife, Jennifer, and Wade Sanchez; grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, Noel, and Ty; sisters, Mary Reyna, Deanna Serna, and Gloria Villalobos and husband, Ernest; brother, Nicolas Muñoz and wife, Terry; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a mission or charity of your choice.
