Mario Asebedo

Mario Asebedo, 74, of Waco passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, November 17, 2023.  A Memorial Visitation with Military Honors will be 4-6 Friday, November 24, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Mario was born February 2, 1949 in Mathis, Texas.  As a teen the family moved to McGregor, Texas. After school, Mario was drafted and served his county in the United States Army.  Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Mario returned to Waco, Texas and became a Brick Mason.

He met and married the love of his life, Mary, and they enjoyed 47 years together.  Mario loved to play pool and spend time with his friends.

Mario is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary; parents, Sidio and Lupe Acevedo; siblings, Josephine and David.

Left to cherish his memories are his step daughters, Mary Ann Cisneros, Pauline Olvera and husband David; loving brothers and sisters; grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
